We just sent out the call for contest, tutorial and workshop proposals for ICPR 2014 (10 May 2013).

I am now Area Editor for Pattern Recognition Letters (9 January 2013).

We are organizing ISMM2013 (11th International Symposium on Mathematical Morphology) here in Uppsala, May 27-29, 2013. I'm the Programme Chair.

I will be Workshops, Tutorials and Contests Co-Chair for ICPR 2014 (August 2014, Stockholm).

I gave my Docent Lecture in Umeå on 29 September 2011.

I have been elected to serve as an Associate Editor for Pattern Recognition Letters (6 June 2011).

I was teaching at the Brno Summer School “Advanced methods on biomedical image analysis”, 28 August to 10 September, 2011.

I was teaching at the Jyväskylä International Summer School “Applications of X-ray microtomography on heterogeneous materials”, August 15th to 19th, 2011.

I organized a new PhD level course, Parallel Image Analysis, in the second half of the 2011 spring semester.

I've been elevated to Senior Member of the IEEE (3 December 2010).

We organized the SSBA Symposium on Image Analysis, 11 and 12 of March, 2010, right here in Uppsala. I was program chair and edited the proceedings with Milan Gavrilovic.
