Title Decoding Gene Expression in 'In-Situ' Sequencing: A Graph-Based Approach.
Abstract "In-situ" sequencing experiments provide a unique way to quantify gene expression without losing spatial information on tissue morphology. Although, expressed genes are commonly so densely packed in tissue that, decoding fluorescent signals between sequencing cycles becomes challenging due to: low signal to noise ratio, imperfect image registration, signal crosstalk and chromatic aberrations of fluorescent channels. In this seminar a new decoding approach based on a graph model is presented that aims to tackle all these issues with a more holistic and inclusive manner (w.r.t the previous approach).
