Title Social Dimensions of Human-Robot Interaction
Abstract In this seminar we outline our research in four areas of social human-robot interaction: using social robots in therapy for kids with autism, action & intention recognition, people’s attitudes toward robots, and the role of artificial agent embodiment in social interaction with people. Tom Ziemke is a full professor of cognitive systems at the Department of Computer and Information Science at Linköping University and a full professor of cognitive science at the University of Skövde. He is giving the talk together with his research assistant Sam Thellman, who has a background in theoretical philosophy and cognitive science.
