Title “Uniform Polyhedra” or “What’s in the Vitrine?”
Abstract Uniform polyhedra isogonal polyhedra where each face is a regular polygon. The simplest is perhaps the cube while the most complex is the “monster.” I will first talk about the definition(s) and history of uniform polyhedra, from the beginning in the mists of history to 1975. Then I will also talk about how to build the models, trying to create maximal nets (as large pieces are possible) and why some of the uniform polyhedra are still missing in the collection.
