||Images Feature transforms like SIFT, GLOH and SURF are
extensively used in a broad range of applications
including image stitching, stereo matching and object recognition.
Most of the work so far has been concentrated to 2D images with some exceptions. The aim of the seminar is to present the basic algorithms, first in 2D and then also the generalisation to higher dimensions. We will especially focus on how these methods are formulated for 3D images with registration problems in mind.
