Hi,
I am a PhD candidate in Computerized Image Processing at Center for Image Analysis (CBA) under the supervision of Prof. Ewert Bengtsson and Prof. Ingela Nyström. Before joining CBA, I worked as lecturer at the department of electrical engineering at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology Islamabad, Pakistan. I have a MS degree in image processing from IIU, Islamabad, Pakistan.
Working in a project where I am supposed to detect the heart location in rat embryos and perform analysis of the heart rhythm. The project is a co-operation between the department of Pharmaceutical Biosciences, Division of Toxicology, and CBA at Uppsala University.
In another project, I am working with non-uniform illumination correction in medical images. The project is a collaboration between CBA and Ryerson Multimedia Research Laboratory, Ryerson University, canada.
In summary, my research interest include, orientation analysis, image registration, non-stationary signal analysis, signature verification, and face recognition.
