||Investigating the application of mathematical morphology to irregularly sampled data is of interest for a number of reasons. There is a multitude of irregularly sampled signals to which one might want to apply morphology. Moreover, allowing for irregular sampling enables one to better approximate continuous morphology, also when considering signals that are, initially, regularly sampled. In this talk I will present some work on adaptive morphology on irregularly sampled images. I will also show some examples of applying morphology to point clouds.
