||I will present two projects that I have been working on in my past at LMU Munich and MPI-CBG Dresden. The first one is a High-Content Screen on human cells (Hela cells) aiming to detect key proteins shaping the mitotic spindle. I will show how I used the free software packages CellProfiler and KNIME to analyze a data-set of about 160 000 image files with machine learning. The second project will show different strategies measuring the velocity of blood flowing through vessels. In both projects I will focus on the biology, microscopy, and image analysis.
