 Talare Magnus Gedda Titel Effective Point-to-point Fuzzy Distance Calculations using the A* Algorithm Sammanfattning When measuring distances between points in an image, where the image contents affects the proximity of the points, the fuzzy distance enables us to take the image contents into account. The fuzzy distance transform can be calculated using the raster scan method or the image foresting transform (dynamic programming). Both of these are unefficient when considering point-to-point fuzzy distances. A more efficient way is introduced by using the A* path-finding algorithm in the fuzzy distance calculation between two points in an image.
