||Mathematical morphology was invented by Matheron and Serra over 40 years ago. Since then, it has become a powerful tool for image processing, that is being continually developed. I will talk about bipolar fuzzy morphology and graph space morphology. I will also mention amoebas, ultrametric watersheds, segmentation of those pesky transition regions, and thoughts on morphology on matrix-valued images. There will also be some conference statistics and images from the medieval city of Groningen.
