Title What's going on in the ENLIGHT project
Abstract I will give you a fresh report from last week's ENLIGHT-meeting in Leiden. The ENLIGHT project is a three-year EU project (starting August 2006) with the purpose of developing new analytical procedures for the study of nucleic acids and proteins in tissue sections, cells and on lysate arrays. Furthermore, software and algorithms for automatic user-independent in situ image analysis of digital single molecule events will be developed. These reagents and algorithms will be used in the project in cancer research applications. Today, I'll tell you about the image analysis related activities within ENLIGHT, namely single-cell analysis, 3D analysis and multi-plexing protein and DNA detection.
